    Politics and Institutions of Contemporary France is only available to students who have passed French 1A or French 1B.
    Scandinavian Languages 2 is available to students who have taken a Scandinavian Studies language in year one.
    For Linguistics 2Lh students must have passed: English Language 1 or Lingusitics 1A or Linguistics 1B.
     

    Year 3, Academic year 2010/11, Starting month: August

  • Notes: Entry into Honours normally requires (i) passes in all six subjects taken in the first two years, and (ii) a mark of 50% or above at the first attempt in the second year of the relevant Modern European Languages.

    At least 30 weeks spent in the relevant country and prescribed work in European Studies and the relevant language in an approved establishment.
