    Year 3, Academic year 2014/15, Starting month: August

  • Notes: Entry into third year normally requires (i) passes in all courses (240 credits) in the first two years, (ii) a mark of 50% or above in Economics 2 at the first attempt, including a mark of 40% or above in specific components of the course (as detailed in the Economics 2 Handbook),(iii) a pass in Issues in Global Economics,(iv) a mark of 50% or above at the first attempt in Management Science and Information Systems and (v) a mark of 50% or above at the first attempt in either Principles of Finance or Business Economics.

    Students who spend their third year abroad at a partner university must complete and pass a full years diet of examinable subjects (equivalent to 120 credits), all of which must be in Economics and Management Science. All students must complete and pass equivalent courses to the year 3 compulsory courses.

  • Notes: Students who spent their third year abroad at a partner university must have completed and passed a full years diet of examinable subjects (equivalent to 120 credits), all of which must have been in Economics and Management Science. Students must take third year core courses for which they did not take suitable substitutes on their year abroad.
